Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) Sophia Wilmot has over 17 years of experience in the health and medical field in both the hospital and family practice settings. Her experience includes pediatrics, women's health, emergency care, nutritional education, wellness support and mental health.
As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the Maryland Board of Nursing, she is educated and experienced to offer exceptional care and truly believes in doing what is right for the patient. This is why Summit Nurse Consulting, LLC does not accept insurance payments for consultations. By eliminating the insurance company, the provider can practice based on the patient's immediate symptoms and needs—not the requirements of the insurance company.
As a Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC), Practitioner Wilmot is also a medical legal advocate for patients. She collaborates with attorneys and patients offering medical expertise and information to support their cases. She specializes in helping United States Military Veterans get disability through the Nexus Letter process. She is also the owner of Summit Legal Nurse Consulting. www.summitlegalnurse.com
Practitioner Wilmot is married and has three beautiful children. She is active in both the Frederick community and her local church. She enjoys outdoor activities and playing music with her family.
Just as Jesus healed the sick when He was on the earth, Sophia believes that He is still the Healer. Summit Nurse Consulting, LLC is a ministry to show His love and compassion for those who need healing. Psalm 147:3, Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 14:14, 1 Peter 2:24
